Hi, I’m Karen — and I’m one of those people who sees something and immediately thinks, “I wonder if I could make that?”
Which is probably how I ended up with a craft space full of sewing machines, 3D printers, laser cutters, vinyl cutters, a UV printer, and enough supplies that some people might call it cluttered.
I prefer creatively equipped.
Make Print Stitch is where I share what I’m making, what I’ve learned along the way, and all the interesting ways these machines can work together. You’ll find 3D printing, laser cutting and engraving, vinyl projects, sewing, tutorials, useful things to make, and the occasional project that exists mainly because I wanted to see if I could do it.
You don’t need to be an expert to make cool things. I’m certainly not an expert in everything I own. I can’t design my own 3D models, for example — but that hasn’t stopped my printer from producing everything from sewing-room organizers to maze piggy banks.
That’s really what this site is about: using technology to make creativity easier, more interesting, and more fun.
A Quick Note About AI
Since this is a site about using technology to create things, I think it’s worth mentioning that I use AI to help create the site, too.
The projects, photos, experiences, opinions, successes, failures, and ideas I share here are mine. AI helps me turn those thoughts into readable articles — because I’d much rather spend my time making something than wondering whether that sentence needed a comma.
Think of it as one more tool in an already overcrowded craft room.
I’ll never use it to pretend I’ve made, tested, or experienced something I haven’t. If I tell you something worked for me, it actually worked for me. If something went completely sideways, you’ll probably hear about that too.
Hopefully, Make Print Stitch gives you an idea for your next project, helps you figure out a machine you already own, or convinces you that you absolutely need another craft tool.
For that last one, I apologize in advance.
Make it. Print it. Stitch it.
